What are services Like?

Our worship service follows a consistent order from week to week, including Holy Communion.

Like many Lutherans, we stand and sit at different times during the service, mainly standing for songs and prayers.

Dress is casual, come as you are.

If members wish, they may participate in the readings of the Bible and prayers each week.

Children help out by lighting the candles and we have a children’s message during the service. Children are dismissed to Sunday School after the Children’s message.

CLC also loves music during worship! We sing many traditional hymns, but also enjoy other musical styles. We have many talented singers in the congregation who provide special music featuring contemporary Christian songs and old-school gospel classics. We also have an active choir that sings monthly.

What if I’m not a Christian?

You most definitely are welcome at Christ Lutheran Church! Our entire service, including readings and prayers, is printed on a easy-to-follow handout. We also have classes to learn more about the Christian faith, and our Pastor is always willing to answer questions.
